A Woman’s Place provides free, private, and confidential shelter, counseling, advocacy, education, and training to victims of domestic abuse and their children as well as training local healthcare workers to screen patients for domestic abuse, school based education for healthy relationships and awareness about resources, community education regarding domestic abuse  and prevention

Aid for Friends was founded in 1974 to serve needy, isolated shut-ins, primarily frail elderly, in the 5-county Greater Philadelphia Region with free, daily home cooked meals, delivered weekly by empathetic volunteer visitors, and also to provide shut-ins with free outreach services.

The Breathing Room is a non-profit outreach organization for individuals and their families suffering from cancer that helps by providing meals, transportation, housekeeping, companionship, and fundraising as well as programs for children, including summer programs, back-to-school programs, holiday programs, and an Easter basket program.

Superkids is a small, non-profit volunteer organization, dedicated to providing the resources for the educational and special needs of abused, neglected, or abandoned children known to the Montgomery County Office of Children and Youth. The focus is on providing experiences that build self esteem, develop life long interests, and enhance strengths and talents. These needs are not financed by any public funding.

Special Equestrians is a non-profit organization whose mission is to improve the physical, mental and well-being of individuals with disabilities through the equine experience.  Their therapeutic riding program offers tremendous hope for many families and they are committed to making their services available to anyone who might benefit, regardless of their ability to pay.
 
Their clients collectively face over 60 physical and cognitive challenges including:

  • Muscular Dystrophy
  • Spina Bifida
